Read the thread, he modded it, was paying for it, then lost his job afterwards. If it was the other way around I'd agree, but can't do much about a situation like that..

Should've planned ahead. Don't mod the car and live paycheck to paycheck because of it. When I had payments on my car I made sure I had at least 4 months ahead paid off and I always made sure I had enough money to make an additional 4 months.

you act like he lost it as soon as he lost his job.. thats extremely ignorant of you .. good job. he actually lost it about 5-6 months after he lost his job maybe longer then that idk exactly .. i just know he had it about 5 months after he lost his job still.

Yea so what if you had 4 extra payments saved up. What if you lost you job for 9 months or more. 4 payments worth wont save you then. I was laid off at the beginning of the year for 6 months. I was okay because I'm on super hustle status but I know not everyone has hustle like I do. So stop doggin him if you dont know the whole story.

exactly.. if i had a car payment when i was out of work i would've been fucked. on unemployment i had enough to pay my bill then 100-200 bux for the whole month a 300 car payment would've put me 100+ bux in the whole every month.. last time i checked financing places dont like it when you're behind

So how much of a dirt bag is he if he couldn't find a job after 6 months. There's plenty of jobs out there in every field so the excuse of "couldn't find work" is complete BS! Often, the bank that lended the money for the vehicle will help out with an extension of 3-6 months where you don't have a payment due for that period and the payments get added onto the end of the loan. My cousin graduated from high school with nothing special, just your everyday person and despite having no experience in anything really (hand't had a job before), he got a job with UPS at a warehouse making pretty decent money. It was only the second job he'd applied at and he was hired within a week. The whole "I couldn't find work" BS is just that, BS!
