Whats the cost on the stage 1 to stage 2 upgrade (rear mount only)?

 

stage 2 upgrade price is $180.

 

So are these are front and rear correct?

 

the stg2 upgrade is just a rear mount, as we already should have the spacer and front mount from stg1

but yes, if you buy the complete stage 2 its both ft and rear. and they rock

 

dont combine the spacer with the billet rear mount ; the spacer is in the billet you add it and bad things may happen i.e not enough thread engagement with the mount bolts, and stress on the upper mounts as well as the lower front....

 

so am I still the only one that has had fairly bad vibes and only slightly less wheelhop than stock with these? I mean it's got to be a bent frame or something--I've tried everything everything else you guys have suggested. I just really don't see how my frame could be bent from being backed into in a parking lot? I'm almost ready to take mine off and try to sell it, because based on everyone I've talked to, my experience is very unique and a different car would most likely have better results.

 

Cat_Ion sold (traded in) his car; Ionick05 bought his stage 1 mounts. We installed them last night, he's freaking out, lol. I told him MONTHS ago that these should be the first mod for any Cobalt supercharged or Ion Redline, period - he did other stuff first. Now ho wishes he'd done these earlier. Did just what we knew they would, and he's learning to drive the car all over again now that he can actually use 1st gear...

Also, if I purchase the stage 1, and decide to upgrade to the stage 2 later on, would I be able to pick it up for upgrade price + shipping?

You shouldn't NEED stage 2 unless you exceed 300 whp; stage 1 gets rid of 90% of the hop up to that power level.

Yeah, that's why I'm planning on stg 1 for starters, and if I decide to sink more into this car can upgrade. I totally misread that post, heh.

So I just need to know if they have the 04 fronts anymore and how to go about buying a set.

 

I've been informed they don't have cores for the 04 at all and I'd have to send in my front mount first. Sucks, because I can't afford to have my DD down at all.

 

It does suck. The 2 that we had customers never returned. We even charged a $250 core charge on them......they must have really wanted them.

 

Heh, at least you got your money's worth out of it. Can probably pick those up at junkyards for $50 all day long.
