Rico, lose the damper. you don't need it, and it might actually interfere with the rotation. Just deadweight.

For what it's worth, Paul left his solid motor mount on with the rotated transmission mounts. It'll work fine, but it'll have more vibration.

Hey Paul, feel like testing it with a stock mount for ***** and giggles?

I have the stock upper on mine.

Honestly, there isn't as much slop as I remembered with being fully stock mainly because the rotato mounts are stiffer than stock.

Period.

Overall though the vibes are like non existant compared to poly stuff

They are there but SIGNIFICANTLY less.

Lol, i was gonna post up that the solid mount you have has been broken forever, and that you were probably just too lazy to put the stock one in haha.

i had heard that the little bit this rotates the motor forward would cause the car not to pass safety standards cause now the motor is too far forward. not sure the truth to that though.

Its not that the car no longer passes safety standards, Its that the OEM cant sell any parts that change the vehicles configuration from when it was safety tested. If GM wanted to sell rotated mounts theyd have to get the car re-crash tested. Not a cheap process. just like GM cant sell catless downpipes(And dealers cant legally install them or any aftermarket cat)

Theres nothing to worry about, and the **** that many people do their cars in many other ways already degrades or changes stock systems to the point where they no longer pass design standards anyway.
