time attack big brake kit review
got my packaged today, happy as two hogs.
started removing the old parts all went well.
now the nightmare starts
first the modified mount.
the thread is for a fine thread
the stock bolt is course so i went
to get the right thread, now the bolt
i got was to long on the bottom part
so i have to cut it.
got that all resolved , i start putting
the brake lines check if it was long enuff
by turning it all the way left and right.
w00t the lines is a tad bit short it
strains on all the way right. its just
enuff to have tension, it still goes all
the way to the right but tension on the brake
lines when turned all the way.
so far thats all that have gone pass.
tomm i will finish the other side.
i hope the bottom bolt dont come off.
because the only reason i know it was
bottoming out is the moddified plate
and the caliper bracket splits a part.
so i cut it down till it was not doing
it.
Update:
day two
the only problem i had was the brake line this time around since i cut the bolt already along with the other side yesterday.
the metal brake line and the supplied brake line is of a different thread, how do i know this because i tried to put the
supplied brake line and the thread would not match up and i was feeling the thread was about to be cross or it will pop
out.
another thing i check is if i can put the stock line to make sure that i did not mess up the thread on the metal line.
it goes right in no problem. So tomm i have to get brake lines made since it was a late night and the flash light we have
was not giving enuff lumination to see the threads are messed up. besides that everything is in , i just need to bleed the brakes
after installing the lines.

nothing is plug and play my friend
pretty sure it's listed you need longer brake lines (I am piecing the setup together myself).
other than that, a little modification ain't bad.
Try installing the vulcan long tube turbo mani lol. 13.5 hour job right there.

After 6 months of research and development, my brake/suspension kit wasn't quite bolt on either. That's what happens when you go semi-custom. The end result is where the true value lies however.
I'll be looking forward to seeing all your guy's car when i get home for sure.

Guys, I just found out the kits went out without the mounting bolts. The correct size is 12mmx1.25 in a 30mm length. As for the brake lines they are 2 inchs longer than stock and have fit other cars, once we get them back we will compare them and find the root cause of his problem.

final update
got the car running
the brake line i got
would not let the fitting
go all the way in. hence it was
not catching th thread. the place
bonacos explained it to me but
i have forgotten it. so i got the
new lines in front and back, they
went in like butter.
i still have the stock pads in the front
when i get the hawk hps i will test the brakes
out and check the bolts and lines.

750? +150 for core which you get back when you send it back.
you are using the stock caliper your just changing the geometry
by having bigger rotors and moving the caliper out more.
