2006 cobalt 2d lt 2.2 turbo kit tampa fl
this is a complete turbo kit off of a 2006 chevy cobalt 2dr lt 2.2 ecotec with an automatic. most turbo parts are generic. welding was done by an amateur. divorce fee forces sale. 2000.00. price lowered to 1500.00 + shipping. paypal gift accepted.
gt35 turbo
emusa wastegate set to 12 psi boost
blow off valve
ugly log manifold
custom intake manifold with extra injector setup
custom made extra injector fuel rail with fuel line
extra injectors are 36 lbs injectors
underdog racing development extra injector controller and tuning software (i started tuning but didnt have the msd tach driver installed so the tune installed is very rich. this will get you started)
msd dis tach driver (new in box)
autometer electronic vacuum/boost gauge - SOLD
wideband o2 gauge with sensor - SOLD
2.5" downpipe
2.5" free flow cat with mid pipe
2.5" tail pipe with stainless canister
all exhaust components are connected with v band clamps for easy removal
intercooler
all boost piping
all clamps and coupler hoses
maf sensor relocated as a blow through
this is a bolt on kit. although the turbo works fine, i do recommend a turbo rebuild as it is a used turbo and you never know. engine wiring harness modification is required. it has been on my vehicle for 1.5 years/4000 miles.
theres too many pics so you can also visit the photobucket link.

ok well how did it run is there anything different in power wise from the zzp kit my wife wants to turbo my car in jan with taxes so let me know what all i would need to run it on a 2.4 auto since you are a 2.2 only reason for that comment was zzp was especially made for the auto 2.4 but let me know i am located in sebring florida so i am like an hour and a half away maybe if you have it in jan we could work something out and i could come over there and we could install it there what about the oil lines
is the intercooler air to air or water to air

2.0, 2.2, & 2.4 should all be the same. not sure why the 2.4 kit would be different. maybe someone would know the difference but i thought all these engines were the same.
turbo is a gt3582. i built this kit for top end. this is my daily driver so i didnt want to use a lot of fuel at low rpm. driving around town it would never see boost until i put my foot down.
the zzp kit doesnt use this large of a turbo. once you get the extra injector controller tuning right, this kit should easily make 300hp. with an engine build, a stock computer reflash and more boost, this kit can easily support 500hp. this kit is designed to use the stock ecm flash. the stock computer adjusts fuel and timing under natural aspiration. when boost comes in, the extra injector controller takes over the rest.
after all the hardware is bolted on the are a few things that need to be done.
oil pan needs to be tapped with a -8 fitting
your wiring harness needs to be modified to relocate the maf and the throttle valve since there in different places. i can supply my modified wiring harness but i would need your stock harness in return.
you will need to make two brackets to mount the intercooler to the bumper support.
wastegate and turbo inlet gaskets will need to be replaced as there only a one time use.
you will need a laptop to tune the eic
you will need to wire up the msd tach driver box so the eic can obtain an accurate rm signal
boost and wideband gauge only need one switched power wire and a ground connected.

on your 2.4 if your looking for big hp number then you can use both the engine reflash and the extra injector controller. it would be a great setup that way as you wouldnt sacrifice idle quality since you have 4 smaller primary injectors and 4 smaller secondary injectors instead of having 4 very large injectors.

yes. you have a 2.4 so your vehicle will work with hptuners. trifecta will work too but its a mail order tune and it will take a few sessions to dial it in.
