If you are serious about building a performance engine then you know that dialing in the cams is a must. Don't listen to the back-yard guys. Ask any professional performance engine builder and he will tell you that adjusting cam timing is essential... period.

These are brand new. I still have not even opened the shipping package.

If you order these, the list price is over $500 + shipping. I did a bit of a search on the internet and the least I could find them for was $379.10 + shipping. Most show the price at over $400. Check the part number in the pic below and see for yourself. Or... try to find aftermarket adjustable cam gears. I want $340 including shipping to anywhere in the continental United States.

I discovered while racing in Grand-Am that a lot of the GM Performance Products are not actually made by GM. They sub-contract a lot of the stuff they market as GM Performance Parts. Usually unless you are able to work directly with the GM race support staff (we did at Grand-Am races) you will never know who actually made the parts.

In the case of these gears, I don't know who made them. I ordered them from GM Performance division just like everyone else.
