For Sale Custom built HID retrofits
#29
People may not "want" retrofits with flaws but its just the nature of the beast. You take apart a headlight, modify it and put it back together and theres gonna be flaws, no one is perfect. Every retrofit has flaws, I am just much more upfront with whats wrong with mine. There are some vendors here who claim to be "very ****" and dont bother even show pictures of the backside of their lights usually.
I think the detail and quality of work someones work shows up in places that most people dont look at or most people dont care about. Its these reasons that Ive shown the back of my lights and my harness. NO ONE else here shows off their harnesses, this is for one of two reasons: they either dont bother to build their own harness and just use of the shelf ****, or their harnesses are built with such crap components and such shoddy craftsmanship that they are ashamed to show them. Sometimes its actually both combined when they modify the crappy off the shelf harness and actually make it worse!
My harness uses the same quality wiring as the car does, it uses the same fuses as the car does, it uses a fully weathersealed relay you can get at a dealer or autoparts store. There is no one else here who can make those claims.
Im not looking to take a loss, and I dont need the money so these will stay the color they are and stay at the price they are. If you think you can buy the same or better for less money.....youre crazy.

Do want. I'll PM you in regards to payment later today.
EDIT: What are the "flaws" that are being spoken of? If it's just the color not being exactly silver, then who gives a ****? It's not hard to take headlights apart and paint them....couple minutes in the oven, couple coats of paint and seal 'em back up. Although, I actually kind of like that color.

last picture of the turn signal, you can see theres an area that is grey instead of chrome. thats where I got a bit too aggresive cleaining the chrome and wiped some off. its not noticeable from from more than about 3ft away, and you need to look for it since its kind of on the inside edge of the turn signal area.
