Exclamation DONT BUY FROM dbtk2

i bought some seats off this guy and drover 5 hrs to michigan to get them. go there and he "forgot" the other parts at work.... told me he would ship the rest to me for free... i got the parts and as its comming time to put them on the car im realizing there all broke junk!!! wont reply to texts pms filed a paypal claim... idler pulley bracket threads are stripped and theres something missing or broke with the tensioner pulley assembly. he sent me a chewed up pulley and told me he would ship another one free and never did and wont reply

not to be rude

i think this is in the wrong place but the blame is 50/50 as my judging you should have check the seats before you paid shame on you. You drove up there and should have put them on the ground and tested them out. but these posts serve a purpose of letting the whole .net know who not to trust or buy from

then he should have shipped them back and gotten different ones...im sure if you were calm about it and semi patient you wouldnt have felt the need to post a bash thread..maybe next time you get impatient ask if anyone else has had any problems with them.

and as you can see from my post count...and join date...iv been around here a while and do more lurking than posting, im on here basically everyday and im saying i havnt heard anything negative about either of them and have personally bought from dbtk2...just because your in a hurry for parts or think used parts are perfect doesnt mean everyone else should be in a hurry to dedicate all their time to making you happy, and if your not then they should work harder...thats not how it works plain and simple, im sure he could have worked it out weather it be a refund/part refund/replacement/whatever it could have been worked out. and if your calling during the day when someone is at work chances are you wont get ahold of them because they are working, oh wait they should be concentrated on making you happy nvm...(that was sarcasm btw) and why you wouldnt inspect something right away when you get it(even if it was shipped to you) is beyond me.

ok not bashing ne one! and the seats are fine!!! i drove 5 hrs and he didnt have all my parts just the seats! kinda funny now huh? and i was calm and let him know about the pulley. and he was cool and said he would ship me another one... after a week and nothing i texted him asking where it was, no reply. almost another week has gone by and i said screw it and was just going to buy another pulley. then saw the other issues. contacted him and nothing! yes he was a very cool and easy guy to work with and great prices. i even ordered something from zzp thru him and got it shipped for free with the other stuff. just he went off the face of the earth for 2 weeks now. so stop flaming

sorry dude, i was more or less flaming smak. even the day of, when i wen up to get my parts i called and texted like 6 times before i got a response..people have other things to do is all im saying. i just dont like it when people are in a hurry and get pissy when the other end is not (not saying you are) and then talk bad about them or tell others not to because of one bad experience. as i said next time try asking a question like "has anyone had probllems w soandso?" it does more that way, there are quite a few people pissed off at one in particular right now for misc reasons relating to buying parts from him....

sorry it just pisses me off that i keep seeing these threads...it is what the feedback section (sticky) is for and if someone does not research who they are buying from its their fault.../rant
