F/S: pacesetter header

i am selling my painted pacestter header (not ceramic) its brand new in the box. i would like to get 150$ for it. the reason i never put it on is cause they took forever to ship it to me i was in dispute with the company forever and now i am looking into a turbo setup and can't use it.
i can give you a shipping quote to wherever so let me know

anyone?

brand new!

100 shipped

By the way, you never would have gotten it on, Late model '06s and '07s have Secondary Air Injection, which has a different exhaust manifold than the Early Model '06s and '05s. Technically you could have installed it but your car would likely flip out, and it would have a permanent CEL.

yeah i noticed that secondary air injection, you mean where it branches off before the intake resonator right?
what does that do? i know i have seen lots of hondas with that and they put one of those little cone filters on it?

It injects clean air from your intake into your exhaust manifold which somehow decreases your emissions. Because of it, there is no way for you to utilize a header at this point

thanks for the good info.
what about putting one of those small cone filters on it? is that a good idea? what would it do? i appreciate your input i obviously don't know anything about this!
You can't.

The 06 and 07 cylinder heads have the provisions for Secondary Air Injection built into it, and the manifold has it's counterparts cast in. All you can do is hope for new headers with some provision for it, either way it will probably throw a CEL unless they keep the SAI intact

Lol, it takes air from your intake, and injects it into the exhaust manifold

you sure? it looks like it goes straight into the valve cover. are we talking about the same thing here?
the peice i am talking about is right before the intake resonator which connects to the throttle body, its just a little hose that goes from the intake inlet tube to the valve cover

No, if you look behind valve cover, you'll see a large cylindrical like thing with tubes running in and out of it

Thanks for the positive feedback

Actually there is no need to trick the ECU other than making it think the system is running. It is a system that is meant to help break up hydrocarbons upon startup and provide air to the exhaust to help heat the cat up quicker. Also, on deceleration a bit of air is injected in to once again help burn the excess fuel in the cat.
