If you have the LSD in your broken trans and it's still good, find a used non-LSD trans and have it swapped. Have seen 2 or 3 non-LSD being sold on here so have those shipped.

My trans shop dropped my trans, are putting my old LSD into the trans I brought them and are rebuilding that, plus re-installing it for 850. I also paid 350 for the trans. 1200 > 3500 that they told me buying a brand new trans from GM. And even $1500+ sounds hell of a lot better than the 5k they told you.
