Ok here is Injen's responce.
I don't recommend tapping a hole for the hose because it will effect the tune of the intake. I'm also not sure if this will effect your emission and your ability to pass smog inspections. I will bring up this issue with the R&D department to see if they can test this. Best regards.

Subject: SP7024P (Chevy Cobalt 2.2L)
Hello, I am very interested in buying an intake for my 2006 Chevy Cobalt 2.2L. The reason I like your intake because it can convert to short ram or CAI in the matter of mintues. However I have a question.
My car has a SAI (Secondary Air Injection), which basically reduces emissions. There is a hose attached to the stock intake box, however, the only intake that supports the SAI is K&N. But I do not want to pay $200+ for that intake. Do you suggest that I "tap" the injen for the hose or do I add a breather filter to the hose?
Your support information will help me in making my decision.

Its a really deep tone without any interior resonance at all. Definitley wont attract cops.
Actually if you have a cell phone that is video capable I can send a video clip to you. Just PM with your cell number if that link wont work.

With the windows up at cruising speed (65-90) lol, It is almost stock. You can tell you have an exhaust on but in NO WAY is it irritating. I guarantee you will love it! Install the exhaust first and drive it around for a bit. Then put the intake on and you will notice that the exhaust will get a little louder but still no interior resonance. Thats why Corsa is such a great exhaust to have. Even when I put my header on it wasnt bad at all! I'll send you the video now.

I'll throw in a free bump and let everyone know that Paul is a stand-up guy. Everyone will get exactly what they pay for. I'll vouch for that.
