FS: $100 Painted Black Headlights or $65 Non-painted headlights
I have a spare set that I used while I was mkaing my retro fit. I painted eyelids on them, but my cat knocked the passenger side one over while the clear was drying and ruined it. So I grabbed my can of paint thinner and went to town.
I am only asking..... $65 + shipping.
Here is why though. When I was painting them, i went to wetsand them clean between layers, will I didn't realize that when I wetsanded the first layer I went a little overboard through the primer and there is a small scratch. It's towards the reflector on the passenger side, and I believe there is some scratches on the driver side.
HOWEVER... I am including a bottle of 3M Rubbing compound, and a bottle of Plastix polish. All you will need to do is wetside the covers with 1500, then 2000 grit sandpaper, and the 3M compund will take all the scratches out, then hit them with the Plastix to make them shiny clear again.
Also, the back part of the housing has overspray on it, but you can't seem that once installed.
Alright, what if I fix and paint them black. Would that spark more of an interest? I could leave the chrome trim chrome like I did on my retro-fit or I could paint the whole bezel black.
For those that want pics of my work...
And a close up for the nay sayers.
I can get better pics on request.
I am just tired of the lights being in my trunk. They rattle around and I want the car interior cleaned out again.
PM if your interested. I will paint them and make them all cleaned up and sealed /w factory bulbs for $100 + shipping. This isn't like a sur-charge for my labor. This is $100 for an actual set of headlights, I AM PROVIDING, and painting to your liking.

I would, but only the headlights and projectors. I do not have the financial freedom right now to find a set of D2S ballasts and bulbs.
So to answer your question, I could make a set of headlights for that. I would test fit them with the ballasts I have now on my car.
The turn around time would be a little while (It's finals week next week). But yeah, I still have spare sheet metal and I could probably find a set of shrouds no problem off HIDplanet.

PM Sent.
I took the reflector cover (Orange/yellow Piece) out because I'm going for a Black/Chrome look. I'm looking into getting ASA JH9 19" wheels and the lower springs are already being negotiated.
Let me know what you guys decide.
