FS: Fujita F5 Cold Air Intake for 2.2.. less than a week old.
Ok guys as many of you may know, a cousin of mine got me this intake for a late 20th birthday present.
I just installed it this past week, and took it off this morning. Its a nice intake, i just didnt like the polished look... Besides, i just bought an entire Kicker setup that i need to pay for. lol
Also, I will admit that at first, this intake did throw a common P0107 CEL... the trick to get rid of it is to disconnect the battery before installing... once installation is complete, reconnect the battery, start up the car, and let the engine idle without touching the gas... that way the computer can reconfigure the new amount of air flowing in. Works fine.
Will fit 2005-2008 Cobalt 2.2
I am asking for $145 + shipping.. Tracking number will be included for your convenience. I only accept PayPal, and can ship out as soon as possible.
On eBay these are going for $219 and above.. buy mine thats been used for less than a week and save
Anyway,
Now for the pics:
Heres the filter... its in excellent condition, basically brand new.
The installation instructions along with the 2 decals and a sticker..
Heres the intake tubing..
To reconnect your MAF sensor, i highly recommend using the stock screws because the ones Fujita included sucked. Your stock ones work perfectly.
You can see here that i havent even taken off the plastic from the decal.. still new
The intake has one spot in particular where rubbing occured... its hard to see in this pic considering i used a cell phone camera...
You get everything you see here:
Heres how it looked when it was installed...
PLEASE READ: because the intake tubing is polished aluminum, it has endured minor scratches from installation.. imo, i would highly recommend that you sand it down, primer it, and color match it with whatever color your car is.. then add about 4-5 coats of automotive clear coat.. if not, once installation is complete, you wont even be able to see the scratches at all.
Please, NO sidebusting.. if you have something negative to say, PM me FIRST. Read the forum rules. Thanks.

yeah dude it will work, just get rid of the black box from the GMPP intake and hook up the fujita intake directly to the first metal intake tubing piece and it will fit, thats what i would be doing if i bought this

i actually like how the stock cover stays on the throttle body, but if youd like to make something custom with this intake, go ahead..
