FS: GM Stage 3 PCM / 06-07 Cobalts

I have a GM Stage 3 PCM up for sale. I'm selling it because I'm just getting into tuning myself and just purchased HP Tuners.

Asking $309 shipped in the U.S. - $329 for CA
PM me an offer!

12610645 Cobalt Stage 3 PCM 2006-07
The PCM is equipped with a user adjustable rev limit from 6750 to 8000 rpm. The rev limit is adjusted by pressing on the throttle pedal with the ignition on and engine off. At about 50% throttle the tachometer will show the current rev limit. Pressing the throttle further will adjust the rev limit in 250 rpm increments. This PCM is also equipped with a control scheme for the equivalent of a 50-horse shot of Nitrous. The PCM will automatically provide the proper spark and fuel for A Nitrous up to 500 rpm below the current selected rev limit when the trigger is activated.

Note:The Stage 3 kit is for off-road use only. The Stage 3 upgrades are meant for off-road use only and are not certified to be emissions legal. The vehicle's air conditioning is disabled by the stage 3 PCM.

Not sure, but I don't think it can be a 06-07 PCM, I thought they changed something in them between years.

05 was different. 06-07 are the same.

Yes it is :P It was way fun too! I decided to learn to tune though instead of keeping it.

Nope, those Stage 3 PCMs don't have a VIN on them.

Not too sure.. I always leave that field blank when I order from them. I took my car in to the dealer with the pcm equipped for a case relearn - not a word about it. They even did the relearn for free!

Probably just for customer records. Thats how most dealers keep your info organized, its one way that it can't get confused, your Vin won't change.

Yeah.. well there was no CEL but the code for the crank sensor was in the system so I went and had it done.

I have the interceptor with the case learn option but it doesn't work. I tried it 3 times. You either have to do it with HP Tuners or take it to the dealer still. Bummer.. I know.

hmm people are broke right now... if i were you i would make a thread about how you can go stage three and avoid the dealer and voiding warentee by just buying 42's this ecm and whatever pulley they wanna run for like 500 total...

nates 2.9 $50
ecm $300
42's $150

you will get a bite for sure then...

killer deal and the dealership knows nothing...
