FS: Injen CAI for 2.2L Cobalt

I have a used Injen cold air intake for the 2.2L Cobalt I would like to sell. Includes all of the hardware to bolt it right on the Cobalt including the 2 polished tubes, air filter, all hose clamps and couplers. I had this on my wifes Cobalt and since we no longer have the car, it needs a new home. We bought this new from Gravana (http://www.gravanatuning.com). Just checked their site, $228.99 is what they go for). I wouldnt say that the pieces are like new, as there are a few scratches, most of which most likely can be polished off, but it looks pretty good. I suppose the best thing is to put it out there and see what I am offered. I will more than likely polish it up and take some pictures tonight, just wanted to see if anyone might be interested. Let me know what you think its worth.
Thanks,
Rob (xrecar)

Here are some photos, the last photo is of a rub mark on the intake. This is on the bottom side of the cold air tube. Apparently when on the car it was rubbing a little where it goes through the metal opening down into the fender well. Hopefully these photos will give you a good idea of what it looks like. I sized them down so that it wouldnt take forever to load the thread. I have larger high res photos if I need to email them to anyone. Each one is a little over 2mb each. Let me know what you think.

Just FYI... this set up will work for the 2.4L Cobalts too. I bought a used one off of e-bay for around $150... so that seems like a fair price.

slvrbalt,

The intake was on my wifes car, we had some issues with the Cobalt that were never really fixed to our satisfaction and my wife decided she wanted to trade the car in. Since the dealer certainly wouldnt give us anything extra for the intake, I put the stock stuff back on and now have this one for sale. I was very pleased with the intake, it just wont work on her new car (obviously) and I would like to recover some of the money so that we can buy one for her new car.

It appears that editing the post doesnt change its state, therefore I doubt anyone knows I have added the photos - well, the photos are up now. Let me know what you think.

Looks good, Im still interested but I found out last night to my suprise that my roomates at school found a house for next year and called me yesterday and were like hey put in 200+ into the bank account.....so i wasnt too happy especially since u just put this up on the market....Im still interested, im willing to offer around 160 or so for it but i wouldnt be able to get it for a few weeks......with that said, if you want to sell it to someone else who can purchase it right now, no big deal, but if you dont mind saving it for a few weeks, till this suprise cost for me blows over that would be awesome too....thanks again for the opportunity....happy selling!

Danklite,

I hate to not give you the time you need, I know how it is, been there many times. Unfortunately, my wife is in a hurry to get this one gone so that I can buy an intake for her new car. What can I say, I guess I created a monster with the car mods! I have an offer that has been accepted, if for some reason it falls through I will definately let you know.
