I believe he payed 200+ shipping for the heat exchanger over a year ago (was never installed tho), maybe the price has gone down since then for them.. I will look into that..
He was going for a big build in the SS. High compression race build. Looking at 500hp+ He went over the build with Bates Engineering and everything, was going to have them do the machining.
Apparently you dont understand that you don't need low compression for a boosted build. You basically just have a larger margin of safety for error.
ALOT of research went into this build.
The build stopped because he wanted to go with an AWD vehicle not FWD.
I dont want to clutter this thread up with that though.

I have 10.5:1...but I put a thicker HG in there so it dropped my compression to about 10.1:1...but I have to run meth. I was running 25psi but dropped to 20psi and i run right around stock timing.
I have stock valvesprings if you're interested.

LOL. Wow. whatever you say... Were you going to run racegas only? thats the only way you would hit the 500+ hp levels unless you were going to spray.

Again, I dont know all the details of everything, this is my BFs car and was his build.
I THINK he was planning on running two tunes on the vehicle, one on the track with the more advanced timing on race gas... The other for street driving with slightlty retarded timing (to avoid knock on street available octane). It was going to vary on how it worked out...
I also can not post pics right now because I am at work.
Thank you...
10.5 comp builds are perfectly fine if tuned correctly (like ANY build).
He was also planning on running meth.
Again, the timing was going to be adjusted varying on what the car needed/would allow without knocking and what octane fuel it was running. Obviously, lol.

From my knowledge it is near brand new (apparently they go for around 230 brand new)..
He bought it 1-1/2 year ago and it was in near-new condition.
He has NEVER used it. It has been sitting in the garage. It was going to be used when the build in the SS was complete.
Like I said, these prices are not firm. I will consider all reasonable offers... This is a starting point. I know he payed over 200 +shipping when he bought the heat exchanger. And it has still never been used since it was purchased.

Are you seriously trying to be like that?
For one, MOST OFFERS ARE WORKED OUT THROUGH PRIVATE MESSAGING
So unless you are on my account looking at my PMs don't even start that.

And I said its a base price and all reasonable offers are considered. Thats what I was told to start with.
If you need a Heat Exchanger, make me an offer, that is all...

He payed over 200 for the heat exchanger so considering that it hasn't been used since we bought it, he would like to get some of that back. If not, then we will go ahead and put it on the SS/SC anyways. It will still beenfit me even though Im not doing much of a build on it.
