Stock bottom end, e85, 1000's, super mild ported head, zzp s2 cams, this same outlet port with a stock inlet, 2.6 pulley, and a little meth to keep the blower cool.
2.5 made 317. Gained a lot more tq than hp, around 15 iirc.

Not by any noticeable amount.
Besides, that's not the point.

Hey Al I got a couple questions for you.
Did you change your tune at all on your dyno comparison? (Especially with the increased airflow) and do you recommend to get retuned once this blower is swapped on?
I also noticed the outlet was ported significantly more then what I've seen other m62 port jobs... It's been said by members and eaton that too much port on the outlet may decrease performance. Thoughts?
Thanks

I know dynos are just a unit of measurement... But I think my last dyno read a bit low. For what it's worth, a fully bolted and tuned LSJ on E85 and 2.8" put down 266whp and a stage 1 SRT neon put down 240whp on the same day, so taking the numbers with a grain of salt. Overall, I was happy in comparison and with my power curve... Pulls hard to redline.
I'm going to hit up the dyno in a couple weeks I used on my old pump gas setup (2.8, 60s, supporting mods) for a more accurate measurement. I was thinking about picking this up beforehand.
Did you change the tune at all with this? Can I just bolt on and go?

I did not have to change the tune because I had scaled the maf out accurately beyond where it was hitting previously. MOST tuners do this, but it's something that should be double checked with hpt.
Think of it similar to dropping a pulley without tuning. Usually it's "ok" but should be double checked.
