My Stuff For Sale!!

I have two used autometer phantom series gauges left
1. EGT - 0-1600
2. Oil pressure - electric 0-100

All are used, in good shape, and DO NOT include anything other than the gauge. No senders or tubing. I still have the lights in them, but thats it. They are not from my car. I will try to post pics later tonight, if not then tomorrow night. Make offers.

Have a stock SS/SC manifold, could port if you are interested.

Also have a stock SS/SC air intake.

This stuff needs to go guys.
Please PM or post any questions or offers. Thanks!!
Joe

I don't know for sure, looks like a regular 2 1/16 gauge to me, I got them used so I don't know the exact specs. Its the regular autometer Phantom, 0-100 psi, electric. I will try to post pics later, i am doing the dual-pass setup on my car right now so when thats done I'll get pics.

I'd rather do them local, since they are almost worn out anyway. Just wanted to offer them up for someone on here before I throw them away. I could find out about shipping, but it probably would be alot considering they are an old set of tires. Again, they have only 4/32 tread left.

Pics

These are the guages. Measured behind the bezel, they are just over 2", so I assume they are 2 1/16 in size.

Pics above. The tires weigh 22 pounds each right now, so I don't know what the shipping would cost but it won't be too cheap.

The oil gauge was not sold, I typed the wrong thing.
Oil and EGT still up for sale!!

I will also be offering a dual-pass endplate kit, complete with everything you need, modded plate, hoses, T fitting, clamps. Anyone who is interested please let me know. This will be based around a used stock endplate modded to a dual-pass type.

New Item for Sale!!

I also have a couple of these tire gauges for sale. They are great little Accu-gage gauges, with a pressure release valve for accurate adjustment of your tires. I got about 15 of them, in Red, Orange, Blue, Yellow and Purple faces. Very simple to use, holds pressure after a measurement to make it easy. I'll let them go for $8 shipped, your choice on the color. Let me know please!! Attachment 1634

Here is a pic of the Dual-Pass kit that I am offering to you guys. I have this one finished an ready to go as of right now, and I will work something out to install it for you if you are local. Pricing for the kit is $125 and your old endplate, it includes everything you see here, all you need is tools and some coolant. After you complete the job just send me back your old endplate and I will refund the core charge. I'm trying to make this easy for some of you guys that can't be without your car while making your own endplate. PM me with any questions or if you would like me to install it for you. Thanks!! Joe

I have a couple questions about this Dual Pass setup:

1. Are the T-fitting resistant to coolant and heat? They look like regular plumbing fittings, not those specific for use on a vehicle.

2. The fitting on the endplate looks like it is brass, or some other metal. It has to be aluminum, otherwise the aluminum will cause the other metal to corrode in the long run, and will create leaks. No?

3. I am assuming that fitting clears the oil filter and AC line that are right there? From my experience we have had to put the fittings in at an angle to make room, but you might have a different height fitting as well.

Fair questions.

1. The intercooler system never gets hot enough to cause a problem, even at 300 degrees, these are serious ABS plastic fittings, not the flimsy pvc ones. Coolant can't hurt the plastic, all resiviors are made of a similar material.

2. The fitting is brass. Electolysis, which I think is what you are talking about, should not be an issue if you use coolant, and there is a sealant around the fitting to keep it clean on the outside. I highly doubt it will ever corrode, much less leak. I have had this setup on my car for a little bit now, I see no leaks or anything. Thats what I wanted to check before I offered this to anyone else. Also, as far as differing metal types are concerned, you even have copper washers in the intecooler system, so if you are going to have a problem you would have it with the factory parts anyway.

3. The fitting is close, but will clear. The first one on my car was a little higher off the plate, and I had to file the corner to make room between it and the oil canister. I had this one set farther into the plate to give clearance. The A/C line is only close to the rubber hose, so clearance is not really an issue. I would like to do the first one as a local install for someone just to make 100% sure, and there are a few people down here who are interested. I am confident that if you are going to be doing the work yourself that you will not have a problem.

Thanks for asking, I hope I have answered everything clearly and completly. Please ask if there are any other questions. Thanks! Joe

Yeah, well, if someone wanted to buy me a new $170 tire when I got a nail in it with 2000 miles on it, then they could have. Its a patch, which is ok for any tire if done correctly. Almost any manufacturer will tell you that as long as you use a patch and it is installed correctly, the speed rating of the tire is retained. All my time working at Chevy in service and at Sears auto center, I never found any evidence to the contrary, and I had those tires over 140mph after the patch several times, with no problems.

I'm gonna throw them out anyway unless someone wants them. I was just seeing if anyone had some use for them. They'll be gone by next weekend one way or the other.
