I purchased an airbox off the for sale forum and the seller Kevin Friermood (Kfrizzle) emai: kev_dogg18@hotmail.com even acknowledged getting my $ via PM. My paper trail is 100% documented and in order.
Now he has locked the thread and no longer accepting PM's and I have heard zero since his thread was locked. What is my recourse?
Be aware--- the cel# he provided has even been disconnected. I would like to assume the best-- Kevin- if you are out there please contact me to make this right. I will file a report against you in Bayfield County. This will cost much more in your time than the $50 you are attempting to steal from me and a felony on your record for Interstate Internet Fraud lasts a LIFETIME!!! Thank you.

 

Did you use paypal for payment? I had the same problem with a member said he was busy and that he couldn't get the money from his bank and idk what other stuff I ended up putting a claim thru paypal and got my money back

 

Sure did. I am not as concerned about the $50 (Paypal is great)as I am about keeping the scammers out of the community. I will file suit against him as promised. I just need to spam his name and info as many places as possible so he comes up SCAMMER on any search engine. I will make it suck to be him. For all internet searches in the future. Just type Pete Kondash scammer in Google. This was the only other time I was attemped to be scammed. I do not forget things like this.

 

Yeah the guy I had the problem with had shipped stuff he sold to other members, that's why I kept waiting but after some time I was like screw it. also I was able to source the part I wanted from him locally and cheaper so thats why I wanted my money back, but yeah i hate when people scam others

All the best for getting your money back. I had an issue with a member before. PayPal fixed it right quick. Member was supposedly having others do his business transactions while he worked, and was too busy to ship the stuff personally. Hope you didn't gift the money.

Hmm weird I bought his lower grill and he shipped my stuff, took him awhile to txt me the tracking tho. And I was texting him and he would respond pretty fast, his packaging wasn't the best but I got it,

Wow, this is the only time u got scammed? U must not get on Craigslist then. Lol it's scammer's paradise there. Oh, almost forgot that broke people are all up on that site as well begging u to hold onto items for them while never having any cash to begin with. Sorry to hear about ur situation but I'm sure Paypal will make it right. Then they can deal with the scammer. I do applaud u though for going out of ur way to let everyone know what a scammer this guy really is.

Craigslist is a joke. People practically want you to pay them to take items off your hands, at least the ones that aren't asking you to ship to Africa. I only use it to unload items I don't want to bother with when it comes to shipping and don't mind a little loss for the sake of convenience.

 

If you used PayPal file a complaint and they'll give you your money back, by taking it from his account

 

He probably has zero experience shipping stuff.

I bet he assumed your airbox would cost like $10 to ship then once he figured out it would cost much more than that just flaked out or doesn't have enough money to actually pay for shipping.

Scam is a scam though. Would be simple to just refund it unless he's a broke ass who already spent it.

Nah I dont have any of his info anymore, like I said before his packaging skill weren't the best just some card board and some of that grey plastic some shippers use so that went to the trash once I opened the package and his number is long gone since I delete all my txt every now and then

 

Fort Riley is about 30 minutes from me, glad I didn't see those headlights I would have bought them for sure. But then again, maybe if he wasn't shipping them and I was picking up he wouldn't have flaked on it LOL

 

I'm not really a bad guy... I have integrity and expect it from anybody I do a deal with. I posted all my communication up with him earlier in this thread and had no reason to expect to be scammed. I do not wish to see anyone else EVER taken advantage of by this individual via the internet.

I actually meant what I said as a compliment, not as an insult. N I completely agree 100 percent with what u said as well. No one deserves to be taken advantage of; especially online. Unfortunately, there are people out there with no morals or character and will do anything to make a buck even if it means stealing from hard working people. That's why I applaud u N hope u find that SOB n give him what he deserves because if people like that get away with it, they're not going to stop n be glad they got away with it. They're going to think that it's easy n if they did it once, then they can do it again.

 

UPDATE: Just received a Paypal refund from Mr. Kevin Friermood. Paypal indicates he sent the refund-- not that they paid it. No explinnation or apology from Mr. Friermood. I hope anybody that deals with him in the future sees this thread and uses caution.
