Always loved those wheels, could never find a reasonable set when I had my yellow car.

Thanks Kev!

Slapbet, I was going to, but I would be buying Chevy centers first, so I never did.

I can include what I have left for paint , so you could touch up, or paint the center caps if you wish

Quank, you have a PM!

do you have any pics of them on your car? Silver is the worst color for wheel options. (my car is silver also)

I don't, never made it on the car, but after this rain/snow BS stops here I will put them next to the car and try and give you an idea.

Pitbull, I don't see that paint color on VHT's site either. I will take a pic of the can when I get home.

I couldn't find it either. I want to paint my supercharger this color, so the part numbr on the can would be great

Can you tell me your process for painting the wheels? Did you use etching primer, filler, base, clear? What grit paper did you use? Basically, what was your process because those wheels look powder coated.

Hit them with 120 in the rough areas, and use metal filler to fix any defects, then sanded with 320/400/600 2 coats of high build primer, 1200 grit light sand on that, and then 3 coats of wheel paint.

no, I have it, just never got to it. if you don't do it right away, just need a light 1500/200 grit sanding to "etch" it and then clear

They look fantastic without it. But maybe to protect the finish would be the only purpose I see.

How many cans of everything did you use?

1500/2000, correct?

one can of each, I was surprised the wheel paint was enough. yes 1500,2000, really fine. just to take the sheen off and give the clear something to stick too. Wet sand might be better.

Wow, you did 12 coats in one can? That's definitely the paint I'm getting for my wheels then. Just need to learn more about the prep
