I might be your guy. I just dyno'd mine at 360 to the wheels. It has about 5000 miles on it. I may be parting out for a GTI. I'm still in the debating phase but if you're in no hurry it may work out.

Here. I should buy it and resell it for a profit, but check this out man. Only less than 800 miles.

lol thanks for the link Im looking for the K04+ not the regular K04 the K04+ is the one that has been modified by Pwerks for higher flow.

Worst case scenario i'll buy a regular K04 and send it in to have it modded, miles wont mean anything on it anyways since it will be rebuilt

Ohh sorry man. That would be a cheap k04 to have modified with only 800 miles also.

Probably more than you want to spend but I am selling my BNR set up that I bought from Frogstofall. I never installed it on the car so since it has just been sitting in my house going to sell it to put money towards something else. You can pm me if interested but it is a whole set up ( BNR turbo , Upper Charge pipe w/ BOV recirculated , and K & N intake set up for recirculated BOV ).

go with monograt on here for a k04 turbo, highly respectable guy i brought many parts from him and his pricing is beyond fair.

Yeah my K04+ was only $1100. Not to bad and its direct bolt on. No needed BOV, recirc system, special charge pipe. Just slap that puppy on and I was done. Cheaper than BNR bit at the same time BNR makes more WHP. So there's some give and take.

Personally I like the ease of mind that came with the K04+

If you send us a turbo it needs to be in working order. Don't buy a blown one as it won't work for the k04+...that only works with the wr2 wr3

not everyone wants 3209304934802382 whp. honestly imho unless your drag racing or 1/2-1 mile racing a 500+whp cobalt is a waste of money when the only time you can go fast is on the high way. to each is their own. the k04 is a great option for someone who just wants a little bit more.

the cost of the turbo is worth wihle for what you get in terms of an upgrade. you can get more from the wr2 wr3 or the zfr but not everyone wnats that kind of power.

You have a point. No fun to just spin all day through 1st 2nd and 3rd.

Exactly! This is why I wanted the K04+ too much of anything is bad. I wanted to be faster than K04 but not strain the engine too much.

I personally looking to hover around 380 whp with a 20hp give or take on 93 octane , it seems that K04+ will do that safely, wouldn't mind a different option for the right price, something like a bnr or a s20g.

not everyone builds their cars just to go fast, modding cars is a hobby and a addictive one at that, people who have 800 -900hp cars dnt always run them alot of them are garage queens just the ability to say they built one or have one, im shooting for 520whp on my build doesnt mean when i get tuned for it thats wut im going to be running around with everyday. Its MY GOAL for MY balt others want lil power bump and streetability others big numbers and others dyno Monsters so in all honestly no amount of money is a waste, its just your misunderstanding of the direction they want to take their car... NOT flaming or trying to be a dicc.

its just a matter of opinion like i said. everyones entitled to do what they want with their car. i dont see the point of a 800+whp car that sits in the garage just to say they have power. ive seen guys that wont even put a so called 800whp+ car on the dyno and still think they can admit they have it lol. in my opinion its a waste of a car and cars like that shouldnt be left to sit as they will deteriorate mechanically over time. cars are ment to be driven. i appreciate the work goes that goes into any car that comes out good but i cant stand going to a show and seeing cars getting pushed into the building because people cant start them for whatever reason or they flat out just look good and do not start. thats just my 2 cents. some people wnat to make power, some people want a dyno queen, some people want a show car, some people want multi function cars and some people want track cars. its up to the user to do what they want. i just dont think in the same mind set that every other persn on this earth thinks of. i respect cars more that make power and can actually get on the road or track(straight line auto x drifting or whatever) and do their job as well as look good while doing it. thats all im saying. i dont see the point in a car that cant put the power to the ground except from a roll. if you intend on seeing some track time then sure its worth it because atleast their will be good proof the car can actually do something other then go from a 40 roll on the high way. nfamous this isnt directed at you so dont take it that way. its just general commenting man. your a cool dude.

but lets not cloud up this thread with this. back on topic please. op i got your pms and responded to them.

You would have to strain the **** out of the k04 to get to 380whp and I don't think you will be doing it on pump gas with-out meth. With all that psi your going to have to run to get there (around 30psi), your not going to get the greatest turbo life not too mention how much heat your going to create. Get yourself a zfr, set it to 20 psi with a good tune, have your 380whp and enjoy with the peace of mind that your turbo will last longer than a tank of gas. Less strain on your engine is a good thing by the way. Don't waste your money on the k04.
