Ok he is still ducking and dodging me. I tried doing things the civil way but no response at all so I'm just going to escalate it into a claim. Luckily I have emails from him clearly saying he will issue me a refund that I'll be submitting in with the claim.

UPDATE: I won my dispute against this guy and Amazon had refunded me my money. I will make a final update when the funds go back into my bank account. Please, EVERYONE READ THIS. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GUY!!!

Okay, the money has gone into my bank account and cleared. Everyone should be aware of online scams like this guy. Please make sure if you demand a picture, to have the user post their name by the item, this will cut down on the scams, and use reliable payment methods such as Paypal, or Amazon. DO NOT GIFT, and pay the extra %. (Even though you should win a dispute if it gets to that point)

I just bought from another member I got my item.. I'm just never going to do another transaction as a gift ever again.. I filed a dispute Paypal is working to fix this though!!

Most times you will win anyways if you gift, but to save yourself the hassle, just pay the fees. I dont use Paypal, I use Amazon Payments. The customer service is much better, but for the most part its the same.

Can't expect the admins to read all the threads looking for scammers. You gotta report it to them if things look sketchy.
And can everyone just stop gifting things to save $5 in paypal fees. All you cheap bastards are doing is making CSS.net an easy place to scam people. Tell the seller to include the transaction fees in the price and if he wont just negotiate a lower price so you can cover the fees or pay the fees and stop whining

damn real sorry to hear about this guys.
i saw a post on here a few weeks back from a new guy with no posts in texas selling some parts, which included a corsa cat back, used for 450.
sweet deal, i thought. i text him, he's responding answering q's about the exhaust, i tell him to send me pics. he says its not off yet, so sends me pics of it on
then sends me pics after he took it off.
looks good, he's been very helpful, i send him the money for GOODs (not gift)
he warned be before i bought it that he works all week, so has to ship on saturday, so idk. i think i'm good right?
