if you research the s256 vs 3076 i have found that the BW is spooling no later than 100-200rpm later than the BB GT, and yet BW has a no questions hassle free 1yr warranty.
it seems that when being used in extreme conditions (such as the autobahn) the BW was taking a beating due to its much much larger center section and the 360 thrust bearing system, were the GT have to be water cooled just to keep em alive, they are finicky about oil psi, and once they deny your warranty (if it happens) your fucked out of about 800 opposed to 50 max to rebuild the BW. (i hear they like to deny warranty on a claim of oil starvation very often)
i was so close to purchasing a GT then found so many comparrisons on the dsm forums of the 256 vs 3076 and it seems everyone had something good to say about BW new technology and how there journal bearings are meeting and beating spool times and outflowing similare sized turbo's
and i paid 732.50 shipped not 1300+
this s256 is supposed to be the shizzzznit, we will see soon!
just something to look into, zzp has had great succes with them. (i still cant belive zzp basically ran a 10sec pass 11.091 @ 132.3)
