I had a small plastic piece in mine broke off dont know if that is all part of the frame or what i have to look. But the roof will go up but will not close back if you slide it back. This piece unlocks something so it will go back down.
You know what that could be and do you have pics of just the frame or is it all together?

Thanks,

Exact same thing happen to me.... wat I did was remove the glass and then remove the broken plastic piece along with another one that helps the sunroof lock and now its able to open/close with out any problems.

Only down fall of this is mhy sunroof only locks on one side. But does the job...

Anyway op how much u looking to get for the frame? No motor or glass

^ thats what i was thinking hadnt gotten around to it. Thanks for the info and confirmed my thinking about doing this. I think my stereo had something to do with it dont think i will fix it till i get done with the bump.
I was able to shut it with a small screw driver moving the piece to go down and lock. Hadnt open since. Now to see how this glass comes out.

That's how I close it the first time in a hurry because it was going to rain..... glass is removed by 6 hex screws 3 on each side

Thats the quickest cheapest way to do it, it is effective tooo, I bought this frame to replace mine because it wasnt locking all the way then i saw this one had those white tabs cut, so i cut mine off and now it opens and closes fine

So theses plastics that was removed are they the locks? They are removed by taking the glass of to get to them? How did you take them off they are removable or have to brake them off. Sorry for all the questions on your for sale thread. Just trying to get a better understanding what i need to do on mine.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Yes and no u remove the broken peice wich is about 1 inch long and then u remove a long id say about 3 maybe 4 inch plastic peice that pulles the locking. Thing... don't know how to explain it better but u do have to take off the glass to get to it and onceits off open and close the sunroof and u will know wat to remove on mine it was just those 2 peices so if u remove more it might be something else

If u need more help just pm me

Sorry for the trhead jack. Baqck on topic now

yeap the plastic locks on the frame are cut, so that the sunroof operated fine opens and closes normally, when i compared it to mine, i noticed that they were cut, so i went ahead and tried taking mine out and it worked just fine so i didnt replace my sunroof and now i have it sitting around with no use to me for now i figured somebody might have a completely bad one and wants a cheap replacement instead of paying GM 300 dollars for it lol

I don't mind the questions, its all good
