Trade: ZZP Pillar

I have the new style ZZP Triple gauge pillar w/airbag button, but the person i got it from painted it black.

Want to see if anyone has the same new style pod in the original tan that would like to trade, maybe + some cash.

i could take pictures, but it doesn't look great.

I've been struggling to strip the paint off suing paint thinner and acetone.

The pod itself is still in perfect shape, its just splotchy in color. I could paint it black again very easily, but that would defeat the work i've done.

If you still want pictures i can manage.

still no takers?

no way, your thinking paint thinner.
Acetone is 100perecent safe on plastic(not rubber), its good to remove taillight tint too.

Hahah, paint thinner won't melt jack. Acetone was melting the toothbush i was using to scrub the paint off.

And no, the pillar seems to be made if a very tough ABS.

No thanks Matty, i've seen that pod, and i hate to say it, but up close it's hideous.

soaking/standing in acetone is different then wiping with a cloth....I just said rubber as a clause, Im aware the pilliar is abs.

And I can also tell you from experience that it will remove the paint with no harm...i have done it. And yes you will have a better chance of paint thinner melting plastic, i too had a brush sitting in thinner when cleaning parts and the brush dissolved after a couple days.....
