It is a Godspeed IC, and yes it can fit a cobalt. It can fit any car with the proper modifications to make it fit. The IC is actually a perfect fit cuz they say 27x10x3 is the biggest you can go. Let me know thanx.

Thank you, and like I said before this one is never been used and the mighty people on here that are now making some huge power started off something just like this, and these people never had any problems with the turbo at all. So I know I wouldnt go for more than a year on it but thats just me. I would suggest that to everyone actually, I say this is a great turbo to get started fast and cheap and do big **** later unless you already have the money.

just to help this thread out... i have two buddies down in west palm florida that are running the ebay ssautocrome t3/t04 turbos on ford probe gt's... one guy is pushing 380whp out of his setup on stock block and has been doing this for going on 3 years now... no problems with the turbo... just the motors.

then again when the motors are only 60 bucks at a junk yard and your car only wieghs 1900 lbs... it makes for a pretty sick car.

lol.. hope this helps

oh p.s.- did i mention that this was on a PROBE GT?!

This turbo was getting put on a cavy and I still have the manifold also, let me know what year cavy it is. The manifold I have is for the 96-02 non ecotec motor. Thanx for trying to help.

Even if the turbo craps out on you after a while its still a good deal, think about it, 300 for the full setup minus charge piping? Buy a good turbo later for 800 and charge piping for 300 and you have a solid kit for under 1500 assuming you allready have 60's, and even with 60's and a tune your still under 2k! take that $5k hahn kit, lol.

I mean when paul (06blackg85ss) had his ebay turbo on, his lasted alittle more than a year, but he ended up upgrading of course so that he wouldnt be takin a chance of it going out on him or something and of course for more power lol.
I ran that turbo on my car for about 6 months with no problems and it's been on my boy's civic for 6 months now still going strong. Never had any issues with it, but i wanted something that spooled a little faster and moved more air hence the turbonetics 60-1 plus turbonetics warranty is fn awesome

Hell yea man, those ebay turbos are not what people think. They will last as long as they should but probably not as long as the real manufactured turbos, but no matter what people will always upgrade down the road, oh and thanx for the good feedback Hell yea warranty FTW!

Tell me what you think of this turbo on our cars, the t3t04e 50 trim .68 AR turbo. Do you think thats a good turbo to start out on Paul.

That should be pretty decent for @350-370whp on moderate boost. I would suggest getting something ball bearing though.

Dont you have to keep that thing maintenance alot or what I mean is, dont you have to have a cool line and a different oil line or something.

You can get them with a dry center section (no coolant lines) Thats what I have on my setup. So far so good and it spools faster than my original smaller turbo.

Oh didnt know that, where did you get yours and can you give me some sites for great prices cuz ball bearing aint cheap which is why I would most likely wait and do something to start off with then upgrade.
