ebay turbos r hit or miss, i have seen them make 400+awhp on a dsm, lasted 3 year making 23psi...always beat on...and ive seen them last a day...the seller is laggit, he is not seller, to the best of his knowledge a crappy turbo, he is selling a ebay turbo, yes, they are known for their hit or miss backround, but no one knows if this one is a 400whp 3 yr capable turbo or a 1 day than start leaking one, hell for all we know it will last a 1-2 years u never know with these

just to help this thread out... i have two buddies down in west palm florida that are running the ebay ssautocrome t3/t04 turbos on ford probe gt's... one guy is pushing 380whp out of his setup on stock block and has been doing this for going on 3 years now... no problems with the turbo... just the motors.
then again when the motors are only 60 bucks at a junk yard and your car only wieghs 1900 lbs... it makes for a pretty sick car.
lol.. hope this helps
oh p.s.- did i mention that this was on a PROBE GT?!

Even if the turbo craps out on you after a while its still a good deal, think about it, 300 for the full setup minus charge piping? Buy a good turbo later for 800 and charge piping for 300 and you have a solid kit for under 1500 assuming you allready have 60's, and even with 60's and a tune your still under 2k! take that $5k hahn kit, lol.

Naw its cuz its not name brand so people get scared since it doesnt have the name on it, but of course the turbo will work mostly the same as the actual garret turbo, but I think that the turbo wont last longer than a 1 or 2. I mean when paul (06blackg85ss) had his ebay turbo on, his lasted alittle more than a year, but he ended up upgrading of course so that he wouldnt be takin a chance of it going out on him or something and of course for more power lol.

I ran that turbo on my car for about 6 months with no problems and it's been on my boy's civic for 6 months now still going strong. Never had any issues with it, but i wanted something that spooled a little faster and moved more air hence the turbonetics 60-1 plus turbonetics warranty is fn awesome
Tell me what you think of this turbo on our cars, the t3t04e 50 trim .68 AR turbo. Do you think thats a good turbo to start out on Paul.

Oh didnt know that, where did you get yours and can you give me some sites for great prices cuz ball bearing aint cheap which is why I would most likely wait and do something to start off with then upgrade.

I bought mine from www.agpturbo.com mine was $1069 shipped, but I got every upgrade available on it lol. But for a good turbo ball bearing type you won't see under $800

[QUOTE=MarqueDo7BabyBalt;2919521]Thanx man, that is what I have been saying, and are you serious that it was a probe gt. Thats crazy, I would be embarrassed at the track seeing a probe smash on me lol.
YES it was a probe gt... i have a lot of friends in south florida and they swap out the motors for jap spec mx6 200 hp motors... add boost on that and it makes for a pretty sick car... 12 psi i wanna say he hit 345whp and wieghed in at about 2000 lbs with him in it..
haha
