hey guys. Im tring to do a intake manifold mod to my 06 ls. Im trying to hunt down a 2.4 manifold, cold air intake, catback exhaust, down pipe, 2.4 throttle body, and headers. If anyone has those parts please let me know. And is this a stupid idea to do to my cobalt?

royce777 has given me all the advice thus far. I will do anything he tells me to do. Im just trying to get other peoples opnions. will i gain enough horsepower and torque to compensate for how much money im puttin in this project?

 

The L61 section should have a boat load of information regarding putting LE5 parts onto the L61. Such as intake manifold, throttle body, etc. It is very common for 2.2 guys to put 2.4 parts on. Just understand that doing so will more than likely require a tune.

 

i was going to purchase all the parts untill i complete my list then put them on and get a tune that day.
