As someone who has the older version vs. his newest, can you summarize the major advantage to the newest?

Colodude could because he has the new one. His latest and most expensive, comes with a new intake and they have done a custom job to the pcv system on it so you don't have any oil going to it. Maybe John could explain better if he gets some free time.

The new design eliminates the pcv valve that and reroutes the port, that with the valve lets a decent amount of oil into the intake, to the separator where it can drain back into the oil pan. with the newest system, there will be 0 oil getting to the intake valves. I may also be upgrading. most likely will.

Yes, new intake but why extra $300 ? LNF intake manifold if purchase em' through eBay would cost around $65 shipped. Then buy line and fittings from Summit racing would cost at least $80 or maybe less.

Well the LDK intake is cheaper (it will fit just has to be modded a bit if I remember correctly) the lnf one is usually more expensive

Edit: seems like the lnf one is 99$ on zzp page plus shipping. That eBay one is a really good deal

so I just ordered the hose id need from summit, and the other fittings from other places, including 2 new aluminum fittings for the separator instead of the steel ones, and with me modding my own manifold, which takes like 20 minutes. total price comes out to $78 usd. which is a lot cheaper than the 600 id have to pay to reorder.

if anyone wants me to do a write up with instructions on how to mod v2 separator into v3 and how to mod ur own manifold, let me know and ill do a write up. I have not actually set this up yet, but by looking at the pic its very easy to see how its done. modding the manifold I got instructions from john powell. total price of modding from v2 to v3 should be about 80usd. you just need to get the fittings in the right places and you wont have to pay a fortune for them.
