u being the buyer r not supposed to pay the pp fee. the seller should eat it but it never happens that way. most people will add the fee into the selling price.
yes its fair for u to pay the fee after u get a tracking # or the part. but the seller should of realized he was going to pay the fee and included it into the price. if the seller thinks its unfair to wait for u to get a tracking# or the part then id be pissed. i mean its $11 out of 330$ wtf.

prior to recently I ate paypal fees, and part of shipping, cause I was an idiot. Now I make sure that bigger items are price+shipping, at the end of it all, its not worth it if you don't.

I usually say gift it or you can pay the fees yourself, but with my stats not alot of people have a problem with gifting it. If your adding to the sale price to cover the fees you should let the buyer know so that if they DO gift it they can get a better deal.
I'm not a retailer and I think paypal has outrageous fees, that's why it's cheaper to buy off here than ebay because the seller has to pay ebay final value fees, posting fees, then the 3% paypal fee.

thats a very good opinion so all sellers should plan to incorporate the selling fees with the asking price is the general idea that everyone is saying or be prepared to snack on some paypal fee cookies

although if someone does send me money and fees do get taken out for it, I'm not going to go crazy and ask for more money or anything. The buyer in reality paid the full price so asking for more money is ridiculous and if it so happens a seller took a huge hit on paypal fees then they should refund the money and ask the buyer to gift it nicely

why would u want to gift the money. i as a buyer would rather pay a few dollars extra to have piece of mind. with gifting u have nothing. pp will not do anything for u if the seller screws u. ive seen lots of people leave my other hobby with tons of posts and membership to the site for years and rip people off this way. my .02

and If you gift it and you get ripped off... call paypal and tell them you accidentally sent money to the wrong email address, bing, bang, boom, money reversed to your account.

I guess people are going to have separate views, but me personally If I don't sell **** for a living and pay taxes on it why should I pay fees? We pay fees because we are using paypal's "service". I've used paymate for ebay and they charge very little fees compared to paypal.
