Hi guys/girls,

I'm looking to purchase a set of 16" steel wheels for my SS/SC. They will be used for winter (I know it's early, just want to see if anyone is looking to get rid of their cars and sell me their wheels).

I know I can get them locally for about $60 each, but I was hoping to save a little by buying them used.

try the local gm dealer. It helped me that i worked there. They put rims on a HHR and took off the steel ones. Used the tires on a malbu and gave me the rims hubs and lugs for free. Try it out if you have any friends that work there that might even help. Just some suggestions.

Unfortunately I don't know anyone that works at a dealership, but I do appreciate the advice! I'll look into it to see what I can find out.

Also try Tire Rack, you can usually get wheels for $65 each. And if you buy them at the same time as the tires, they'll come already mounted and balanced.
