I am unable to find a specific answer. Adding this to my car, i wont lose HP/TQ, will i? I have a CTI Catless 3" DP, 2.5in Magnaflow Catback to keep back pressure. Im buying a ZZP 2.8 pulley s3 HE, Option b, unused ZZP flashed PCM from a local seller. Thoughts?

You won't lose any power but you certainly won't be gaining any. Look at it this way, it will look like a cool piece of art in your engine bay that you put more effort than you should to install it. When youe all done you can stand back and say man that looks good and your motor will say FU why are you making me push gas out these oddly shapped noodle like pipes. If you want a good sound go for it, if you want to add power don't buy it. Sorry for the terrible sentancing but I'm exhausted and explained it best I can.

He said it in a very nice way tho. I want that sound. With the zzp stage kit and devils own meth kit, Zzp S3 HE, and dual bypass, I be where I wanted the car to be hp/tq wise.. Question.. I was reading old threads where this company said there was gains of 20+ hp, I was never able to find a dyno slip, I followed the thread for ever, with no luck..

It may sound good but that's just the sound of money and potential HP rampaging thru useless, un orthodox, un equal, dificultly welded pipes of failure. If you do get one make sure it wasn't from the group buy and none of the primarys are touching each other. If you get an older style you may actually see gains but mostly just from the exhaust being able to flow a little smoother thru the pipes instead of a cast manifold. For some reason the group buy ones just didn't yield any power and everyone hated it. Most of the guys that were loosing power or not gaining any a all were running a TVS or pushing some selerious power out. You prob won't notice a huge difference running a 2.8 or anything bigger. If you do wanna run it your best bet is to run catless DP so that it flows the best it possibly can. I wanted one for a long time and I still kinda wouldnt mind one just to see how she sounded. Unfortunatly for what they cost it's just not worth spending the money for little to no gain. There are many other combos out there that flow much better and you will actually feel a difference in your butt dyno. Any midlength combo ZZP, CTI, Vibrant, and Clear Image will flow great for your setup and yield good gains. Take it a step further and run a OTTP or ZZP Long Tube and youll probably see the best gain out of them all. Anyways hope that helps and wasn't to harsh on the noodle. If you wanna run it for sound go for it, if you put some power down noticeable by the butt dyno run anything but that.

So much fail in this thread. The design is fine, the 1 5/8 primaries are what hold it back for big power. Anything up to a 2.7 m-62 pulley and you should have no issues. It's funny how so many different platforms use similar style headers with no issues. There may have been some qci on a few of the units but that could be said for every header made for this car as I have seen threads pertaining to quality failure for all of them.
That being said I will be pulling mine off in the next month or so to install my ZZP LTH because I'm going to pulley my TVS down to a 2.6.
The jbp header I have has been proven to show gains on mine and Omega5's car and yes it sounds great.

i got the very first one from the group buy... none of the primaries touched and all the bends were smooth and flowed nicely. as for equil length idk. i always ment to fill up the primaries w the same amount of water in each to check but never did. wish i wouldnt have sold it. i actually wouldnt mind having another one on my DD IRL

OTTP's LTH isn't even an equal length header as stated on their website. Mine is from before the GB and it is a thing of beauty. I'm in no way a JBP fanbio, as most ppl know they are dbags. But I don't think there is a better header made for this car that bolt directly into the stock location to the stock downpipe.
