Jimbo I have the stock tranny inserts, or you lookign for the actual full replacement?

They are a little beat up from taking them out of the mount itself, but will still work just fine.

Have you tried the blue locktite or the red locktite?

It's not worth going back to those stock mounts; unless you like wheel hop of course

i don't do many hard launches on the car so wheel hop isn't really an issue, what is an issue is the damn studs rattling out at 170 mph on the autobahn **** freaked me out today, just let off a really hard pull and started hearing an exhaust leak. i though i had blown the motor at first.
which of those loctites can handle really high temps?

Ah I hear ya... Well then CA or Bwoody Traction bars are for you

Whats it like doing 170 mph on the autobahn? Did you happen to blow by any expensive cars?

no, no expensive cars, my wife is currently giving me a lecture about how she is not riding with me again anytime soon but at least the car rides butter smooth at those speeds, no float whatsoever, very stable.

Haha your telling me man

I have all the solid mounts, traction bars, full coiliovers, bars; car still feels like it's on rails after 120 mph haha.

-----------

What RPM you at in 5th gear at 170 mph? I had no idea our cars can do that, or you revving up to 8k?

I didn't know you tuned as well...

I've been going over 04redline's, aka shaunmcdees tunes n such trying to get a grasp of it all.

I'll be purchasing hptuners in the near future.

yah, but i'm still learning, i've got down maf calibration and timing tables, pe, and most of the important ones, but theres still alot i need to learn.

i reccomend advanced engine managment and tuning by greg banish. great book! best thing is he gives seminars, and he's always helping guys out on hptuners.com/forums, he goes by the name eficalibrator. i think he has a seminar in LA soon.
