Oh I know it is his video...and he's posted it before. I'm not telling everyone to go out and do this. He did this on a road where there was little if no traffic. It each his or her own.

That will probably the last time I'll drive that fast. Its an adrenaline rush, but its plain stupid. Too many things can go wrong and at that speed you can put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye if it does.

I hate to tell you, but the road is wet even when it's sprinkling. And BTW, if it never rains in AZ, then that means when it does there's that much more oil from the road floating to the surface, meaning it would be slicker than if it rained all the time.

And the road is clearly wet in the video.

I'm 23, thanks. All I was saying is that no one with a rational mind can think that doing 160mph in any weather condition on public roads, traffic or not, is safe.

 

My girlfriend has a 2005 Honda Civic that is silver and an automatic and it's slow as ****. < too funny man. and yeah, driving that fast on public roads is dumb, and thats coming from an 18 year old , i like to drive fast too, but i know i dont want to hurt anyone else.

 

Honestly I doubt the videos credibility. I've been 140 in a car before and yes it was very stupid but it looked like we were going about 100 times faster than that car ever looks like its going in that video. Probably did a gear swap and since theres no tuning the speedo is retarded. When I put the 4.10s in my old camaro i made a stupid video like that were I buried the speedo in like 12 seconds. But regardless to whether he's really going 160 or not, its definatly not smart and its definatly wet roads which makes it even stupider.

 

I guess this is a possibility, but it's always going to seem faster when you're in the car.

The only thing I could think of is most speedos start to get innaccurate once they're reading that high. I know from riding motorcycles that guys speedos on some sport bikes would read 170+ and they'd be off by as much as 20mph according to the radar.

 

That isnt retarted at all, why dont you ask him to do when its snowing, im sure the ice will give him a nice HP boost =)
