I own a black LT Coupe... I waxed mine last time with ICE, Swirls like crazy .

I commend you for your amazing detailing skills. I think I just need to take a day off work and actually spend some time detailing.

the truth is... if the prep work is there (aka.. good paint, multiple clear coats, wet sand, polish compound, etc..) it doesnt matter a ton what your final "wax" coat is..

seriously, that paint job has orange peel in it still. Factory paint jobs arent the greatest. Theres only so much you can do with factory paint...

well of course there is gonna be orange peel, i was referring to the absence of swirls on a 3 year old black car. maybe because of the polish and compund i used eh?

I havent polished my car is so long... This makes me want to do it though! I would say that my detail is comparable to your in the sun, I have been a detailer for 5+ years though lol. REIGN SS, WickedSS2005, BradSi, and some of the other Ohio guys will vouche for the quality and condition of my 4 years old paint. Ill have to get some pics when the weather is finally ok and going to stay that way.
