Worst yet, when you towel dry it, more specifically, the rear bumper, and you forget to towel dry around the trunk and you drive off. Then when you get to your destination and get out of your car, you look at your rear bumper and see dry water streak marks Somehow, I either forget to towel dry around the trunk or there's water hiding out somewhere back there

I have my cleaning essentials kit in my trunk. Glass cleaner, tire shine, quick detailer, carpet cleaner and tons of microfiber towels, all organized into their own little boxes, lol.

I think it's safe to assume that EVERY SINGLE CLEAN COBALT is sandbagged with between 10 to 50lbs of cleaning supply...

Fix'd, lol. In my other cars, I could get away with a towel, and some window wipes or something. I have found the secret to keeping the car looking good though... 5 minutes of spot free rinse! Then of course the quick detailer.

The thing that sucks is that I can't find a tire shine that doesn't get on my wheels and attract dirt. That **** pisses me off! Any suggestions?

Stoner's Trim Shine...the only product I use...satin finish...not that greasy "Jerry Curl Shine" crapola that's so popular these days...man, I think I just dated my self lol...

I know what you are talking about, lol. I am not huge on big time shine, but I want something that doesnt turn my tires brown, after like 3 days. I just like a nice BLACK tire.

Next time you clean your tires scrub as much as you can off and then put the tire shine on again at it seems to work for me.

The only problem is the tire shine flinging off your tires over time and onto your fenders. Thank God we have black Cobalts My father has an SL55 AMG and for some reason, he continues to put tire shine on his wheels even though he knows after 20 minutes of driving, he's gonna have to wipe down his fenders.

What did you do for the holes? Or did you end up with a wingless trunk? I want to go wingless, but dont want some lame looking plugged holes.
