eh, I don't think its that great for small econo box cars.....maybe a fiftys style cruiser

Friend made his own and put them on his Ford Galaxy, I think a 54, anyway flames would be a 3-4 FEET off the back, pretty sick.

Why are they illegal?

Looks dumb to me. Now if it only ignited a little bit of gas for a short flame then i think it would be better.

i think they are tuneable....you can have it put x amount of gas... But my friend has one on his 'cuda...it's sick. But not so much on a Cobalt...

why? cause they are dangerous say someone is walking behind you car and you dont notice and burn them or someone is too close at a light and you melt thier bumper

They're extremely dangerous. Not only could someone get roasted, if you had a car pull up too close behind you, there's a danger of setting their cars on fire. Think older cars with oil/fuel leaks. Woooosh.

yes for the flame thrower kits you buy you ahve to have a distributer so you can have power sent to the spark lug located at the tip of your pipe
