I dont think anyone notices but the red bull logo in my sig is from their F1 car. Ive been a red bull fan since they were jaguar (old team, not drink company). I actually really hate vettel since he ran into webber and did that crazy gesture. Although my favorite team in red bull I actually only want webber to win. Today I was going for alonso but it wasn't meant to be I guess. I think if webber would learn to launch he would have 2 championships possibly. I cant even count how many positions he has lost from the front grid because of his shitty starts.
Hamilton in merc will be interesting to watch. If they have similar performance as this year hamilton wont be there for very long.

Alonso has the problem that the Ferrari is not good in qualifying. If he always has to start from the 4th raw, It will be impossible to compete for the championship. Alonso is the best driver, but honestly if Ferrari can't give him a good car, he's better off leaving the team. Tombazis, Fry, Domenicali, these are all people that weren't supposed to be in Ferrari. But still, this year he lost because of the difference between Webber and Massa. Vettel had a teammate that was able to take points away from his rivals, Alonso basically raced by himself, as Massa was never able to put his car between Alonso and other drivers. The 5 or 6 points difference that Alonso and Vettel had at the end of the season is all there.
Vettel to me is a bluff, when the Red Bull was as competitive as Ferrari and McLaren, which it was for more than half season, we could see that he was just a normal driver, always arriving after Alonso and Hamilton. He has to thank Adrian Newey if he is a triple world champion. Newey always designes things right to the edge of the rules, and we saw how 6 times the car was found irregular by FIA. With Alonso in Red Bull and Vettel in Ferrari, the championship would had finished in August or September at the most.

I agree. I'm sure there was a collective 'oh sh*t, what do we do now?' from the red bull camp when the FIA deemed their exhaust blown diffuser shenanigans illegal this year. It was pretty obvious from the first few races this season that the RB8 chassis didn't have the pace Vettel was used to.

Remember that last year they weren't able to set up the kers properly? And because of that, they didn't use it for the first few races because they were giving more that a second gap to others because of that kind of exhaust?

They were still having issues with the KERS all the way up to Texas!
Infiniti has just become Red Bull's title sponsor so next year they'll be Infiniti Red Bull Renault. Since we know that Infiniti is Nissan's brand are we now seeing a collaborative effort to use Nissan's electric vehicle technology to improve the KERS in the RB chassis next season??

You are right, because all they need is the 2 McLaren drivers, the 2 Red Bull drivers and Alonso. Massa is useless that he drives. Well actually 6, because Raikkonen is worth it to see him racing

Nice pics man, I live in Austin and was in suite 20 right off of turn 19 man that is a great track. I saw the first one in Indy too as for I'm from Indiana. I'm more excited for the V8 super cars next May, the dealership I work for is partnered with the FPR team for the next 5 yrs and I was the lucky one to be in charge when their here and the best part is I will get to go in the teams suite for the race. So what was your take on Austin? I love it here and next year when you guys come down check out GMTT our local club down here.

It was a pretty amazing trip! The track exceeded my expectations and is certainly one of the best circuits on the calendar. I had a blast in the city as well. A good friend of mine i went to high school with owns a bar down on 6th and Trinity so we partied pretty hard at his place. His connections aslo got us into Red Bull Racings after party for the drivers... epic weekend
