Not having the a/c doesn't bother me. I don't use it anyways. Robs power from the engine. The car is a dog when the a/c is on. The only thing i like on the Stage 3 is the rev limit adjustment and the HOM

g5mike, what was there reason for replacing the head? I am assuming that its not covered under warranty or anything, correct? And Edubs, I did receive an e-mail from JBP today, thanks for asking for me though. No updates from me yet, the head is back at the machine shop being looked at *fingers crossed*.

Even player_1 who had Mev install the cams himself is taking them out... I think it's more than just bad luck.

We'll see, hopefully soon. I guess worst case scenario, I will return the Cams, an valve springs (if they ever get here) and use the refund for Tag's 2.5" header back exhaust. Then have her tuned by TTP wit my 60's and have em throw my HE on for me.

Ed is taking them out because he had tuning issues. Ed has run the cams for over a year as the official tester. While he needs to fine tune his car , the car ran for a long time.

My update is as follows, it has been discovered that I have a broken valve spring (JBP) and two damaged exhasut valves in cylinder #2. That is all that I know of right now. The head is still at the machine shop for further "dissecting" and should have the reason(s) for the damage known and if anything else is damaged by tomorrow night.

Keep us up to date Dan. It's interesting to hear that one of the upgraded springs failed. I wonder what could have caused that? I still haven't had a chance to look at my engine with the valve cover off. Damn work and three classes. I have no time for anything. Eventually I'm just gonna have to call the dealership up and figure out how we're gonna get my car out there. I'm just hoping that there's not significant damage (i.e. head)...
That could be a real pain in the ass for me trying to figure out who has to pay for it...

This is becoming more of a pain then I had originally expected. Not to mention, that if I change my mind on this, it may even be more difficult to get a refund. Guess my only option is to go through with it and hope for the best. I hope that sometime soon, someones car starts running right with these. lol..

g5mike, what exactly happened to your head that got damaged? Was it before or after the cam install? Did you have any codes thrown before or after the head went bad? Just curious for obvious reasons.
