i woudlnt, u would have just waisted all that money on that turbo build because u wont get any of it back. People just dont buy highly modded cars, especially ones that have broken before.
I seriously would just step back for a few days, let them look into it and go from there. Cars break, especially when you start pushing them. Even the Sc's and Tc's will break if you push them too far, its the risk you take when modding a car, if you cant handle that, then i would look into something else to use your money for.
For the THOUSANDS more your going to have to pay to get one of those cars and then still mod them to be fast and unique, you could have had one hell of a built 2.2 with still plenty of cash to spare.

You seem like a guy that likes to push your rides to their limits, which is awesome, but you got to realise, any of those cars on that list will break if u put them to their limits without the proper hardware to handle it.
For the most part u got the proper hardware, but its the parts that u kinda cheaped out on that broke, like a nice custom cam for that setup, solid lifters, etc... You built most of it but left a few weak points and those weak points came and bit you in the ass.
When your building a car to be custom and built, its better to start off with a cheaper platform and build off it i think unless your made of money. The 2.2 when built can handle craploads of power as long as its done right, and the cheaper car u start out with, the more money u have left over to use in building it up.

Wow, that's all i can say about this, i personally don't see your cams as a weak link, especially in your current power range, this is just a freak thing, period. Either that cam had a defect to begin with or when it was apart previously, something happened to it.
At this point you will have to fix it to sell it, so fix it right, but fix it as cheaply as possible, stock cam and valves if needed. That way if you do decide to get rid of it, you will lose less money. Hate to see you get rid of it, but i understand your frustration.... You could always buy the patriot head, that's a nice piece, and ONLY $1400.00,lol....

if you're going to push it to the limits you have to be prepared for stuff like this to happen.. it really sucks but you've come this far. fixing it isn't super expensive now .. when it's FINALLY done and running well it'll all be worth it

ok new camshaft will be installed tomorrow....hopefully no valves got bent....if they did...well i guess i need to replace them.......but i dont see why they would have gotten bent...as soon as the cam snapped they should have closed shut and not hit the piston...but my luck...thats probably what happened...lol

if there is any other issues dont play with the car until they are fixed. Boosted cars are very touchy if they arent properly tuned or have any other mechanical issues, especially ones that mess with the boost

well i almost have the wastegate dialed in...its just a bitch cuz the turbo gets so hot and the wastegate is under the turbo...so i really dont feel like burning myself...this is why i only do about 2 or 3 adjustmets a day...today i said **** it and unthreaded it about 4 turns and this almost got me at the magic spot...so im almost there...i would say about 2 or 3 more turns and ill have it where i want it to be
