Thanks!
yea i built these in late august before college started back up. i love em!
yeah ive gone through a couple sets of lights (to say the least
) through trades n such, all with legit reasons though
the first set i made were g3 series retrofits. they worked great!! but for some reason i could not get them to seal up! i literally tried everything!!

second set, gen1's.. i traded a local guy my g3 retrofits for these plus some cash, so i came out pretty much even and i had a set of lights that didnt leak so at the time i was happy
![](http://i739.photobucket.com/albums/xx36/padlocks/My%20Pictures/0112.jpg)
ended up having a local guy interested in the gen1's, so that was my chance to go another route. so i found those retrofitted gen2's but i was very happy with the light output. for retrofits i was expecting more. so long story short i wasnt COMPLETELY happy with them even though they looked "different" and pretty good from a looks standpoint, but werent so good in the light output sense. I WANTED MORE!!!!!

![](http://i739.photobucket.com/albums/xx36/padlocks/Photo%20Shoots/IMG_0075.jpg)
so for the final push on headlights, i decided to take full advantage of the buyhids group buy for Mini H1's. i saved around $100 on parts and god knows how much on labor and i finally got to the point where i love how my lights look AND love how they perform!

![](http://i739.photobucket.com/albums/xx36/padlocks/My%20Pictures/IMG_0449.jpg)
after i got the retros done i managed to sell the gen2's to a member on here. so yeaa.. thats what happened with those..
GOD AM I FREAKING HAPPY TO BE DONE WITH HEADLIGHTS![lol](https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

id never do eyelids on a regular housing or retrofit because you cant really achieve the "angry" look with them, which is what i think the whole point of eyelids are (i dont like the sleepy look at all).. the vinyl is kind of a PITA to make look right too.. after time it looks kinda mehh
i dont mind 1lowls's eyelids, but they are pretty small so thats probably why i dont think they look too bad. anything bigger =

then you either have a dead ic pump, need a bigger H/E or vince needs to back off timing
you can also throw in 1.5 gallons of E85(if available) to a full tank and that will knock out your KR.My buddy had 8* of KR and the small blend got rid of all KR.
