so here are a few pics of the saturn project.. i spent 9 hours of priming, painting, reassembling, and confusion on the drivetrain..
but it was all worth it, the drivetrain assembly is 95% complete, and everything is painted!! and when i mean everything i mean everything, down to the smallest bolt head..
lemme know what you think of the color scheme.. interested on hearing opinions... (if it were my say the color scheme would be different) lol
intake manifold, with injectors installed..
my custom egr blockoff plate made my yours truly
the block color happened to be one of those colors where it looks different on the cap of the can of paint than it does once painted.. didnt think it was going to look soooo "greenish" toned (which looks even more green in the pics).. but nonetheless it still looks ok. wish it was more of a gunmetal like the can seemed.. but oh well

line up the skirts where u want them dip a rope in chalk then put it up next to the car and snap it. It will leave a chalk line down the car then line up the clips and drill holes

use a jackstands or something to hold the skirt up and mark it where it's even.the front has a bolt that goes through it on the fender liner, you can put that in to hel level it then mark where the clips are on the side so you can drill them out.I've heard of people not even putting the side ones in and they were still tight and flush but I dont know about that.If your not comfortable with drilling your car,you can snap the bottom clips in and use some 3m tape for the sides.up to you
