and the final product for now, i let it dry for a while but when i unmasked it some edges didn't come out perfect. looks good for now but i may redo it come may when it's nicer out. and i talked with a buddy today and he wants me to tint my tails too so we may do that in a couple weeks, we'll see

Anybody change the color of their base model interior? Im needing to change the color of my seats as its all I have left to do. I really don't want to buy a cheap set of aftermarket seats and loose the passenger airbag sensors and stuff but I don't want drop the $750+ to reupholster them either.
Anyone use fabric "paint" on their seats? I used it on the door inserts and headliner and the headliner hasn't faded or anything. The only thing is the red on the inserts is kinda fading a bit but it hasn't come off on my clothes or anything and my leg rubs that a lot.
So should I try the seats or is there any better, cost efficient, ways of changing colors?

b&g are probably the absolute lowest but i hear are bouncy, h&r tend to lower the front a little more than the rear but isn't bad. anything with the FE5 shocks/struts won't be all that terrible of a ride thou... but hows the ride on those b&g's jmesl8er?

oh man i hate my tan interior bad! I see people fab dying the headliner, and some have resticking issues and sagging, im going to plastidip my dash trim pieces and if it looks good do it to the dashboard.
Defininetly dont have the ***** to try dying the seats, i would think when sweating in the summer it would come off.

Well I haven't had any issues with the headliner sagging. It's actually holding up really nice.
As for the seats, I'm a little worried about having a black ass as well but then again I don't know. I mean the red has never come off on my clothes and I've had them done for about a year now and last year was hot down here. I'm just tired of the black and red interior with grey seats. Lmao

fe5 isn't much of an upgrade imho. I switched to kyb after a summer of riding the stock ones. The ride is better, but not that noticeable..the only real reason I switched was to salvage my car before the stock ones break (we have horrible streets here, it's not even a necessary upgrade, really)

I have Stance coilovers and I plan to have them on as soon as snow stops being a dominant part of the weather. But I got to thinking...as long as I'm down there replacing everything else....and I have time to wait. What kind of sway bars should i upgrade to? What's the best BOLT ON sway bar options for my 4 lug LS. Or are the stock LS sways good enough, I just don't want to cheap out as long as i've already spent a small fortune on the coil overs.

ah damn, if we were closer i'd take that deal but yea idk how we'd be able to work that out shipping wise. it shouldn't be too much but i could probably do my own for the same cost. i'd maybe be interested in your retros thou if the right price but like i said earlier i don't want to call any "dibs" before you even have a FS thread, especially if your price is gonna be more than what i can work with right now
