if your still on halogen highs I would tie them all in to turn on with the high beams.So you would have hid low,halogen highs and whatever your fogs are on at the same time.Then you'll see everything

I've got HID lows and HID fogs, and I've never needed my highs (not that I have any, either) and I drive at night on the non-lit transcanadian highway twice a week for 400km.

my 5000K HID fogs are completely useless with my headlights on. you cant tell the difference with the fogs on or off because my retrofits outpower my fogs by that much. i only use my fogs with i have just my DRL (aka halos) on..

at least when I lived in Calgary, there wasn't a single drive into the rockies where I didn't come across a bear, or moose etc; now here the best I can hope for is skunk.
