I was just coming in here to ask if anyone that went boosted was . I'm pretty set on going SCed and was wondering if I should spend the extra $600+ and get a header/dp at the same time

Ny LAP has sai. And its a different version where the ports are on the block. I had to cut the header to make it so it would fit around the bracket. Its deleted now so im thinking to get a bigger header. Im getting a 2.5 castles dp soon im hoping it will pick up a bit

this x1000

bigger is not always better. Take your mouth and blow air at a piece of paper; once through a pvc pipe, and once through a straw.

I suck at analogies but you get the point

there are much better places to spend money to improve performance than upgrading the exhaust .25" bigger... GM designed that exhaust with the ss/sc in mind so you cant tell me that .25" makes an "omg i feel zeee powwwaaa" kind of difference. the difference will be largely unnoticeable especially with the power levels you 2.2 guys are at with your s/c's (considering you are on stock internals). The GMPP flows perfectly fine for anything under 300HP.. over that then 3" may be beneficial, but that gets annoyingly raspy on the s/c's unless you really like trying exhaust options
