I just tried (and failed) at removing my wing...looks like I'll have to find a wingless trunk instead =/

It takes some muscle to get that off but once you remove the screws, its technically detached but it sticks like a bitch. using fishing line can break the seam perhaps

tried that for about 40 mins in my garage with a blow dryer hanging from my mouth.

I'll just be patient and wait til I find one for sale or in a junkyard.


...because once it's off, I'm still left with holes, so might as well just pay a little extra and get a proper one. SS front bumper comes first tho!

You'll need a a heat gun to do it. I got one for $20 and used the 1000 degree F setting. Takes about 10 or so min for it to heat up enough for you to pull it off. I did this to an SS i found in a junk yard. got it for $150 USD. I've got the trunk up for sale if you want it.

as of now.. nothing..

I'm technically going to be car-less for a while.. but in the market for an ss/tc.. if the deal goes through tomorrow, I will be getting an offer on my LT that most would only dream about in my situation

does it line up perfect and all to our ls bumpers cause im looking at getting it and th e rksport front lip and side skirts before i wrap my car in lambo orange vinyl wrap

Yeah it's made for the g5 coupe but the cobalt coupe is the same rear bumper. I just liked the look of the g5 one over the cobalt one

ugh track prep was non existent last night.Best I could net was 13.60 @ 105 with a 2.2 60'.Anything over 1/4 would spin.My buddys with DR's couldn't even hook up,it was sad.
