stock Map will only read about 2.7 psi.
Had one of the best races I've had in a long time with a MazdaSpeed 6.Full bolt ons and tune with a 2 step. 1st run was from ~20 roll,in which he gained like 5 inches on me and then we stuck dead even until ~80.Guy was impressed how well my car did against his.Last 2 races were digs,in which he used the 2 step but gave me the hit off the light.both digs had the same outcome with him putting about a car on me but sticking dead even after I grabbed traction.Last race we took it to ~115.I layed into 4th for a while lol.I didn't even know they were AWD until the 1st dig race lol.Dude was super cool though. He said,'**** man that thing is fast, the whine sounds fkn crazy"

The standard atmosphere is a unit of pressure and is defined as being equal to 101.325 kPa. The following units are equivalent, but only to the number of decimal places displayed: 760 mmHg (torr), 29.92 inHg, 14.696 psi, 1013.25 millibars/hectopascal.

14.7psi is atomspheric at sea level. That is PSIA. All gauges, sensors, ect are all calibrated to what is called PSIG. It takes into effect atmospheric pressure so no you don't factor in atmospheric pressure. There is a constant 14.7 PSIA pushing down on you, me, everything around us.

I pieced mine together. Used piping and intercooler that i purchased from ebay then fabbed to work. Manifold from zzp. Turbo from ebay. Then custom fabbed the downpipe. AN fittings and braided line for return to pan, and oil feed with special ecotec adapter to the block. It was well under 2k.
If you aren't comfortable with fabrication go with a zzp kit.
