well ive used synthetic from day one and the bearings look like they haven't even broke in yet.Use great oil and it will pay off.

wtfI just hit 66,666 the other day too lol. my bearings looked brand new when i did my motor build last winter as well mobil 1 full synthetic since turbo went on

2007 with 33,3xx... at the moment it gets driven about 1.5 miles a day to and from work unless i have to run into town hell i'm putting more miles on my bike now instead of the car haha

I have yet to see a built f23... unless you're saying he should swap to an f35 it's just not worth it to go to the f23 and not even have an option of getting it built up

personally, i believe stock for stock, the f23 can take more. 500+ HP cavaliers have run them and been fine. i think a stock f23 with cryo treated gears could hold his power, as long as he doesnt go crazy on it.

this may be true. I haven't had any problems yet (knock on wood) and I'm even running a spec clutch which I've only heard horror stories about lol. I launch at the track at 4,000 rpms on drag radials too and still going strong

Your lucky you arent having issues. Mine chattered like hell, and after 40k miles was junk. Right down to the rivets.

If you want to figure out how to do that go right on ahead...
Have to completely swap out the wiring harness...

If theres someone willing to take on that kind of work which I'm not gonna end up paying 5 grand for then let me know. lol

well how much has 5 trannys costed you? haha i didnt realize you had to harness swap. i guess i know more about j-bodies than my own car haha. im down to help man. bring her to tn and bring ya a harness

if Im high rpms in 1st,its wot which literally revs right out,no traction at all so im bangin gears,but no grinds or what not.The clutch has def seen better days but there's no slip.....yet

Idk how much... probably around 10K... Only had 3 built.. first was the stock one.
Gonna need to put another trans in the car to get it there though lol
