padlock, what's your suspension/tire size?

I'm still unsure if I should powdercoat my stocks for the summer, or buy some 17's...

progress springs
stock 16's painted black with 205/55/16 tires (the stock size)

personally what im doing is im using them as my summer rims/tires.. i picked up steelies with all seasons on for the winter for like $75 from a local guy so i couldnt pass those up... im only getting rims IF and only if i find a mint set of likeable 17's rims with tires on craiglist for a good price. most of what i find doesnt fit the criteria i want though ill be patient though

The only way I'm debating this is because I don't want to be stuck with crappy fitment. I had a hard luck finding steelies for the winter (because of the center bore size). What should I look at other than 4x100mm (seeing how we have a 57.1mm bore)?

I got steelies from Discount Tire.
The bore size didn't matter as the wheels are lug centric. My wheels have a gap between the hub and the bore on the wheel.

I tried mounting my bro's old cavalier steelies on and the bore was too small. I ended up getting cobalt-specific steelies and they work great. I'm just worried for buying aftermarket wheels (especially online) if they'll fit or not..

Almost all aftermarket wheels have a much larger center bore then most cars need, thay way they will fit just about every car with the use of hubcentric rings

ah sweet man thanks!

I found these sweet cr-kai fakes but only go to 16in in 4x100.

Does anyone know nice wheels in either that style (emotion cr kai, 5-star double spoke) or a 6 (maybe 7) spoke fakes of the te-37s?

I'm quite picky, I know, but I'd like them in 17s and either dark bronze or black.

I get what he means. you get these little rings that fill the gap between the bigger bore of the aftermarket wheel and the smaller bore from your car(in our case, it's 57.1mm)

I know what you mean. I had them with my aftermarket wheels on the Mazda.
As you can see here. No rings. Steelies don't use them.

when i was lookin for summer wheels i went on tire rack and they tell you what rims fit and what one's don't, i ended up getting sport edition ce's and when they're on they have a small space around the hub. IMO if anyone is looking for aftermarket wheels just do your research and find what you like...

Just go to google shopping and type in 4x100 and whatever diameter you want. That will give you tons of results. And you can sort by lowest price so you can find your price range easier. I found some pretty sweet wheels that way.

I know. Ideally, I'd get these badboys in bronze; but I'm not down to make my car a 5-bolt just to get sweet wheels.

Like I said, I found drag dr-31 to be pretty damn sexy, but they only come in 4x100 up to 16inch; then they fall to 5lug (17-18in)
