Idk how to get the car to hook up at the drag racing. even RWD it wont hook. is there a trick or just feature the gas the whole time? drifting in this game it dumb it's hard to keep a drift going It would be nice if it was like NFS Prostreet drifting how the camera pulled out and it went into a little slower speed so you can control it and everything.

 

Yea I have only done one drag race and that was with cobalt lol. I had the race tires though so it wasnt too bad. Drifting in this game is kind of pointless imo.

 

Yeah cuz you get the drift going and it's basically impossible tokeep it going. total waste imo also. drag is pointless also cuz it's like you spin throught 1 and 2 gear. It's like AWD is the only option. Another thing I don't like that you cant paint the calipers and how there isn't a forza rear bumper just the front.

 

I will have to try a RWD drag later and see how I do. I think it really depends on your setup.

 

im deff getting this game today, maybe some of you guys would like to have some races tonight ill post up a thread with my XBLGT and we will race around with our balts or what ever cars you have in a private room. have some fun =].. Forza 3 new CSS.Net Car meets =] lol

 

Launching all of my cars I leave at 5k then feather threw 1st and give hell into second. My stock ion went 15.0 and my civic that is fwd is averaging 12.1 but has seen 11.9

 

Ok, Carbon Fiber is now up on my storefront (GT-Seder33) as a vinyl group. Paint your hood metallic black, apply the vinyl group, resize and rotate until you like the way it fits.

It's kinda hard to catch in a pic, but it looks pretty realistic

To find it goto Storefront. - Search Vinyl Groups - Manual Keyword - type "carbonfibertran"




I hafta disagree here man. Drift is all in the tune. If you're racing in Manual mode, with assists off Drifting is possible. Search Project Blackjack if you wanna see how the pro's do it. The Drift mode may be pointless, but believe me, there are people out there drifting like maniacs in private rooms, lol

graphics are amazing =] cobalt looks amazing detail is right there! looks perfect. not like other games nfs shift did okay job but not as good as this

 

drifting is so much fun. i think its really easy. ill have to post a video of some of my drifts. i use a modified rx8. and make sure you turn the traction control off. lol

 

 

might have to get an xbox just for this lol

 

I'm working on tuning my AE86 for drifting. I may have gone a little overkill going with a 355hp setup on a 1900lb car, but we'll see how it goes after tuning. It's working quite well as is, but it needs a little more "snap" turn in so I can hit the S-curves better.

And to anyone who things the drifting sucks on this game, it's very possible and very rewarding, you just have to be good at it.
