RWD ~ 400hp. Manual Trans, TRACTION + STABILITY OFF Goto Benchmark Layout A (The Gymkhana track) and play til you get the feel for it.

Basically you wanna point at a corner, hit the go peddle, let the throttle bring your ass end around, counter steer, and learn how to hold it with throttle modulation and steering input. It helps to have a slightly long 2nd gear while you're learning. And the Gymkhana track is good to learn on, as it is wide open, and there is less stuff to smash into.

I just read on the forza website that they are going to "Address the Drag strips in the next title update" WOOOOOOHOOOOO

dunno exactly what all that means, but I hope at a minimum we'll get a stocky launch pad, so RWD drag racing will actually be viable Praying we can finally hang the wheels on a launch\

I hear ya, I refuse to drag race until they fix it. I have most of the other events finished, but drag racing is a joke as it is. I hope they get it right this time. The vid with the Charger liftin wheels was the main reason I ran out to buy this on launch day. I was very disappointed. Just seems weird, with the rest of the game being so good, and them paying so much attention to detail in nearly every other aspect

 

Interesting, I will have to play it eventually. I still have to finish Forza. I think I am at like level 40 now lol.
